Miss Natalie’s Rhythm and Dance  

2023-2024 Season 

All classes taught by Natalie Delgado 

Tiny Dancers: Preschool students will learn ballet and tap basics through play and repetition.  Classes are taught with the goal of fun and expression of one's self through dancing. Attire:  Pastel leotard, light colored tights, tan buckle tap shoes and pink ballet slippers.  Boys wear black shorts, white t-shirt and black ballet slippers, tan lace up tap shoes.  Hair secured away from face.  Mondays: 4-5 pm or Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 (Ages 3-5) 

 

Elementary Ballet/Tap Combo:  This is for young dancers wishing to learn the art of ballet and the fundamentals of tap in a fun and graceful way.  Focus is on technique and timing where students will be encouraged to try their best and have fun doing it.  Attire:  Black leotard, white tights, pink ballet slippers, tan buckle tap shoes, skirts optional.  Boys wear black shorts, white t-shirt and black ballet slippers, tan lace up tap shoes.  Hair secured away from face. Fridays 4:45-5:45pm (Ages 6-11 or 5 in Kindergarten) 

 

 Elementary Jazz/Tap Combo:  This class will teach both tap dance and classical jazz dancing in a fun, age appropriate and modest way.  Students will learn combinations set to Pop, Jazz and Broadway music and have a blast!   Attire:  Black leotard, black pants or shorts, pink or tan ballet slippers, tan buckle tap shoes.  Boys wear black shorts, white t-shirt and black ballet slippers, tan lace up tap shoes.  Hair secured away from face. Thursdays 4:45-5:45pm (Ages 6-11 or 5 in Kindergarten) 

 

Intermediate Ballet:  This class is designed for the elementary age student with dance experience of three years +.  Dancers will gain new knowledge of ballet terms and learn many combinations set to classical and modern music. Attire:  Black leotard, white tights, tan or pink ballet slippers, skirt optional.  Boys wear black shorts, white t-shirt and black ballet slippers.  Hair secured away from face.  Mondays: 5:15- 6:15pm (Ages 8-12) 

 

Intermediate Tap/ Theatre Jazz:  Tap dancing is a great way to channel your energy into your feet.  The steps and combinations learned in tap dancing help with brain development and memorization in a way that is different from other dance forms.  The intricate rhythms the dancer will learn will activate their creativity and give a sense of accomplishment every week! This class also learns Jazz in the form of Musical Theatre with character routines and skills building. Attire:  Black leotard, black pants or shorts, tan jazz shoes, and tan lace up Capezio tap shoes.  Boys wear black shorts, white t-shirt and tan lace up tap shoes and tan jazz shoes.  Hair secured away from face.   Tuesdays 5:15pm-6:30pm (Ages 8-13) 

 

Musical Theatre: Students will explore many different musicals through combinations and choreography.  Emphasis will be equal on technique and stage presence with special directions on acting the part through dance.  This class is a favorite and fills up fast!  Class will perform in the year end recital in June.  Attire:  Black leotard, black pants or shorts, tan jazz shoes.  Boys wear black shorts or pants, white t-shirt and  jazz shoes.  Hair secured away from face.  Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm (Ages 12-18) 

 

Teen Conditioning and Technique:  This is an add on class for teens enrolled in another class.  This 30-minute class will build strength, balance and flexibility that will improve performance in all dance forms.  This is not a recital-based class.    Attire:  Black leotard, black tights, tan, split sole canvas ballet slippers, skirt or shorts optional.  Hair secured away from face.  Tuesdays:  3:45-4:15 pm (Ages 13-18) 

 

Lyrical / Contemporary Ballet:  Lyrical ballet teaches the dancer how to express music with their body.  In this advanced level class, students will reinforce ballet techniques while exploring more challenging combinations and elements.  This class will perform in the year end recital in June.  Attire:  Black leotard, black tights, tan split sole, canvas ballet slippers, skirt optional.  Hair secured away from face.  Tuesdays:  4:15-5:15pm (Ages 13-18 with three years dance experience) 

 

Teen Tap: Tap dancing is a great way to channel your energy into your feet.  The steps and combinations learned in tap dancing help with brain development and memorization in a way that is different from other dance forms.  The intricate rhythms the dancer will learn will activate their creativity and give a sense of accomplishment every week!  Class will perform in the year end recital in June.  Attire:  Black leotard, black pants or shorts, tan, Capezio, lace up jazz tap shoes.  Boys wear black shorts or pants, white t-shirt and tan lace up tap shoes.  Hair secured away from face.  Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm (Ages 13-18) 

 

Adult Tap:  Forget your troubles and come get tappy!  This class is for all levels and all ages.  We will be learning how to tap dance to pop, R&B, swing, jazz and theatre music.  It will be fun.  You will be hooked!  This class will not perform in the year end recital.  Attire:  Workout clothes, lace up tap shoes.  Thursdays 5:45-6:45pm ( New class forming upon request of 5 or more students.  Email to inquire)

The Studio

Located in the back of The Box Factory

Our Studio is 800 square feet of custom made sprung floors that have a great sound and feel amazing to dance on.  We have a dynamic sound system and beautifully hung mirrors and barres making it a perfect place to create and learn.
